SSC's Combined Graduate Level Examination 2014


Commission will be holding Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2014 for recruitment to different posts for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification. The Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test, wherever applicable as per the Scheme of Examination. Posts have been placed in two groups, inter-alia, based on their Grade Pay and papers in Tier II examination/Interview. Preference for Posts, is to be indicated in the application. Candidates are requested to note that preference for Posts once exercised will be final. Request for change of preference will not be considered under any  circumstance. For the post of Assistant in CSS, candidate shall have not more than three attempts unless covered by any of the exceptions notified by Government of India.

Staff selection Commission (SSC) Notifies Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2014 in the employment news 18 to 24 January 2014. the Last date for apply SSC CGL Exam 2014 is 14.02.2014. The date of Examination of Combined Graduate Level 2014 is 27.04.2014. This Examination Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2014 held for the recruitment to different posts for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification. Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test. The application fee for the General candidates is Rs. 100 and there is no fee for the candidates belongs to  Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible. The last Date for SSC CGL Exam 2014 for the candidates who belongs to Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh,Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir,  Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad - 21.02.2014.

Vacancy details :
For the posts of  Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts/ Assistant Enforcement Officer/Inspector (CBN) Compiler/ Divisional Accountant/ Auditors/ UDCs /Tax Assistants/ Junior Accountant & Accountant /Sub-Inspector (CBN) the age limit required  18-27 years( He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1987 and not later than 01.01.1996)
For the posts of Statistical Investigator Gr.II age limits is Not exceeding 26 years (He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1988)
For the posts of Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI age limits are 20-27 years( He/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1987 and not later than 01.01.1994)

Note the age age limits are also provided to the SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-serviceman candidates.

Education qualifications :
i) Compiler : Bachelor‟s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor‟s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects
OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Mathematics ( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects
OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects
OR
Bachelor‟s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
