Candidates may refer to the Notice of the above mentioned Examination published in the Employment News dated 28-9-2013. The following amendment in the said notice of examination is made :



Staff Selection Commission (SSC) publish the notification in the employment news for the recruitment of Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) Examination, 2013.The candidates can apply for this recruitment on or before Last Date – 26 October 2013. Written Examination Date of SSC Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’) is 29th December 2013.

Education Qualifications: Candidate who want to apply for SSC Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’) posts Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognised Board or University.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be made on the basis of Written Examination and Skill test in stenography. No of vacancies and pay scale details:

SSC will hold a Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Translators in (CSOLS).

1. Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Translators in (CSOLS). The Examination will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview.
2. FEE: RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY(Rs. 100.00) Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government orders.
3. CLOSING DATE : 30-08-2013 (upto 5 P.M.). For candidates residing in Assam,Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad – 06-09-2013 (upto 5 PM). SSC will Conduct an All India open examination for Data entry Operator and Lower Division clerk

Staff Selection Commission will conduct an All India Open Examination 10/11/2013 and 17/11/2013 for requirement to the following posts for Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 

• Data Entry Operator (DEO) / Lower Division Clerk (LDC) :  No. of posts will be determined in due course, Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- for DEO and Rs. 1900/- for LDC, Age : 18-27 years as on 01/08/2013,  Qualification : 12th Standard Pass or equivalent.

Fee: Rs. 100/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman) to be deposited in SBI cash by challan or by Online in SBI.
